Terms & Conditions
By registering an account at bestwireless.co.nz and placing orders you are indicating your agreement to all of our various terms and conditions as described in the pages linked below.
General
We can’t deliver to PO boxes, APO addresses, or certain remote areas. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, and refund any orders where we deem the address to be undeliverable.
When you sign up for a bestwireless.co.nz account you are indicating that you agree to the terms and conditions we’ve published on our online website. You are responsible for reading these terms in detail.
Here are some of the most important parts of our terms and policies that you should be aware of before you place orders
- bestwireless.co.nz sends goods to you from our suppliers in China. As such, you (or the consignee) are importing the goods. In many countries this means you will be liable for import duties and other taxes. It’s your responsibility to find out about this, and your responsibility to pay the taxes/charges on receipt of the items.
- All prices are GST inclusive.
- Should you be required to pay customs duty bestwireless.co.nz will assist you as much as we can.
- You must provide a valid phone number on your account for the courier to use.Under the terms of the warranty if a product arrives broken or develops a fault during the warranty period, you are responsible for the costs of returning it to bestwireless.co.nz for repair and/or compensation.
- bestwireless.co.nz doesn’t accept returns of products which are not faulty. If you order the wrong products by mistake, or order products that cannot work in your country (e.g. wrong GSM type for cell phones, DVB-T to unsupported countries, PAL/NTSC to wrong regions) we will not offer return/exchange after the goods that are sent out.
- Flashing the firmware on products voids the warranty. Even if the product comes with firmware update features / software, please do not use it. The same goes for opening up the body of a product and breaking the warranty seal.
- Take note of the *sensor* megapixel rating on digital cameras, not the maximum interpolated rating printed on the product or in the manual by the manufacturer.
- We strongly recommend you order samples before proceeding with large wholesale orders. As such we may not offer you detailed quantity price breaks until you have successfully placed sample orders.
- If you pay for an order and cancel it, or we are offering compensation for a failed delivery or warranty return, we reserve the right to offer credit against future orders instead of a cash refund.
- All new customers paying by credit card / debit card / Paypal are subject to a risk assessment inspection. This can lead to a delay of your first order if we request ID verification from you. This is common practice for any merchant protecting against fraud and your documents submitted will be strictly protected under our privacy policy and, per our data protection policy, not retained beyond the time of the check.
Refunds and Cancellations – Can customers cancel an order?
- There is no need to contact bestwireless.co.nz to cancel orders which have not been paid for. These orders will expire automatically after a certain period.
- Only orders that have actually been paid for are activated and entered into the order checking / processing system.
- In general, bestwireless.co.nz can accept requests for cancellation of paid orders up to the working day on which the order enters the status of processing.
- Customers can request cancellation of orders by phone or email, quoting their order number.
- If a customer requests cancellation of an order after the order is in processing (i.e. goods checking and packing) in our suppliers warehouse, or after the goods have actually been dispatched from the warehouse into the delivery logistics system, bestwireless.co.nz reserves the right to decline the request for cancellation.
Does bestwireless.co.nz deduct an administration fee on cancelled orders?
- Orders will be refunded in full without any deduction of fees in the majority of cases. In particular, where an order is cancelled or refused during the initial order checking process, the full payment will be refunded.
- In the majority of cases where a customer requests a cancellation and refund during the time an order is in processing, prior to the dispatch of the items from the warehouse, a full refund can be made without the deduction of any administration fees or other fees.
- One possible instance where we may charge administration fees is where a customer cancels several processing orders all at the same time.
- Orders cannot be cancelled once the goods have shipped from our supplier
- If the consignee refuses to accept receipt of goods because they have changed their mind about the purchase, or because they do not accept paying their own country’s import duties and taxes, or for similar reasons beyond bestwireless.co.nz’s control, bestwireless.co.nz will deduct from the refund all of the expenses incurred in returning the goods to our suppliers. For this reason it is particularly important for customers to be aware of import regulations in their own country, and for dropship vendors to inform their customers about possible taxes on imported goods. It is the responsibility of the buyer, not bestwireless.co.nz, to find out full information about import regulations and taxes in the consignee’s country, in advance of placing a payment for an order.
