How Fast Can I Get My Products?

The time from when you pay, to the time when you receive the goods, is typically 15 – 35 days. This is a little longer than you may expect but for the cheaper price, the wait is worth it.

How Are Goods Shipped To Me?

Goods are shipped to you directly from our suppliers overseas to keep costs down. Your goods will be shipped to you by air express courier.

Import / Customs

You (or the consignee) must accept delivery of the goods and comply with any applicable procedures/charges from your local Customs Department. Customs clearance paperwork and procedures are handled by the courier. They may need to contact you in certain cases to confirm details of a shipment. In any cases where additional paperwork is required for customs clearance, bestwireless.co.nz can provide this to you. Any local sales tax or import duty will be calculated when your goods enter your country. In most cases there is nothing to pay, but if there is, you may be required to pay a small surcharge bill and/or GST for your products to be released. Please contact us if this is the case.

Usually, when you import goods from bestwireless.co.nz suppliers, the packet will be inspected by your local Customs.There’s usually no reason to worry because;

bestwireless.co.nz suppliers provide all the necessary paperwork for your shipment. In most countries it is easy to import most kinds of consumer electronics and bestwireless.co.nz will not knowingly sell any product that is not legal in New Zealand, Australia or USA. The actual process of customs clearance is usually handled completely by the delivery company (e.g. UPS, DHL).

If there is any duty (import tax) or other charges to pay, the courier may pay it first and deliver the products to you, and you pay them later or you may need to pay Customs directly. Contact us if this is the case.

Sometimes you may need to provide information to your local Customs about the shipment you are receiving. In some cases they need you to provide an invoice matching the invoice that accompanies the goods. In these cases please contact us immediately and we will provide you with a copy of your purchase invoice.

Sometimes the products need to be backed up with some kind of licence or certificate. In these cases, we mostly already hear about it from the courier and we will handle it for you. If Customs contacts you about this, please contact us first to get our help.

If for any reason, the products cannot be delivered to you, due to a Customs problem, we will discuss with you on a case by case basis about how to handle this.

If goods are seized or turned back because of an issue that was bestwireless.co.nz’s fault, e.g. incorrect paperwork, we will re-deliver the goods at our own expense, or offer you credit for a new order.

As the importer you hold sole legal responsibility for responding to questions about imported goods delivering to yourself. Import duties, sales tax, and any other customs charge, are your responsibility, as described in our terms and conditions. If a delivery fails because you do not respond in time to Customs communications, or you refuse to pay the applicable charges, we cannot offer any compensation.

Receiving Your Delivery

We guarantee your order will be delivered successfully.

Couriers require a signature from the recipient for delivery, and this is a fast and secure way to have your products delivered.

It is essential you provide a full, accurate shipping address, and a valid delivery phone number. If you are sending to a person other than yourself, this means this other persons phone number.

What if the product does not arrive?

We guarantee your products will arrive safely to you.

In the unlikely event your package is lost, after incestigation if indeed the product has indeed we will re-send the goods or give you a full refund.

What if the package is lost, broken, or stolen before it reaches you? In practice such cases are very rare, perhaps 1 in 5000 shipments, when using courier services. Please note confirmation of such cases can take some time, so in such an event you may be advised to place a new order at your expense while the original shipment is investigated pending compensation. If it is confirmed that the package has indeed been lost, broken or stolen before it reaches you then bestwireless.co.nz will re-send the goods or give a full refund.

A multi-part delivery arrives missing some items or packets.

In such a scenario you must raise the issue immediately with the courier or delivery company. With the correct documentary proof through the courier company reporting process, bestwireless.co.nz will endeavour to acquire and send the missing items or if this isn’t possible we will give a refund.

Items in the packet arrive in a damaged condition.

In such a scenario you must raise the issue immediately with the courier or delivery company. Provided you follow through the correct reporting process, the goods can be handed back to the courier and bestwireless.co.nz will send new goods or give a refund. If you do not immediately follow the courier’s reporting procedure, and thus no adequate documentation is available to prove the goods arrived damaged, we will offer advice on a case-by-case basis about whether you can return the goods for replacements or a refund.

A shipment is delayed, turned back, or seized by Customs

If the Customs issue was your responsibility, you are liable. If the failed delivery was due to mis-handling by our suppliers, you will receive compensation when the case is resolved. Such cases are unusual but it is important you are aware of your responsibilities in such a case.

General Delivery Failure Cases Where You Accept Liability

You (or the consignee) must accept delivery of the goods and comply with any applicable procedures/charges from your local Customs Department.

If the delivery fails because:

  • you were not at home or the courier could not contact you the delivery details were wrong
  • the recipient fails to accept the goods
  • the courier cannot satisfactorily verify the identity of the person attempting to receive the goods
  • the courier cannot deliver to a remote area or invalid address
  • delivery fails due to war, disaster, etc
  • other similar scenarios beyond our control

… in such cases you agree that bestwireless.co.nz will not accept liability and no compensation is available.

How Much Does Shipping Cost?

Shipping cost is a maximum cost of $5 for all deliveries to New Zealand. If you require shipping to anywhere else shipping costs will depend on your destination and the quantity/weight of goods you are buying. We do endeavour to keep shipping costs to a minimum. If your delivery address is different to New Zealand we may contact you to notify you of the additional shipping costs required. bestwireless.co.nz is currently operating in New Zealand only.

All bestwireless.co.nz goods are shipped directly from our suppliers overseas and if your goods are delivered to a New Zealand address your shipping is just $5, however our supplier may include a shipping fee on your delivery docket. You are not required to pay the supplier fee.

The Air Waybill (formal shipping document) that accompanies your goods may show a kg weight that is less than the shipping band that you paid for. This happens when the item is light but bulky, so the shipping band is calculated by dimensions, not actual weight.

All orders must be fully paid in advance, including shipping if delivery. Shipping charges are not refundable except in cases of failed delivery.

If a delivery is confirmed lost, stolen, or damaged before receipt, we will work with the courier directly to obtain information, and arrange a refund or re-delivery at no further expense to you.

Worldwide Shipping and Legality

We currently offer a shipping cost of $5 to New Zealand customers regardless of the size or weight of the item.

Please note that you are responsible for finding out in advance about the legality of importing your ordered items into your country – and about the legalities of importing goods into your country per se. We are not responsible for confiscated items by your local authorities or any associated costs incurred. Customs clearance is undertaken by the courier in the delivery destination country (and in certain cases, in the en-route country). You must be available for contact by them, in the event of any query or clearance confirmation. You are responsible for knowing the regulations in your delivery country before placing your order.

Returns and Refunds

All our products come with a 12 month warranty.

Fewer than 1% of all bestwireless.co.nz shipped products are subject to any warranty or quality issue.

In the unlikely event there is a quality defect that causes the device to be unacceptable for sale or unusable during the 12 months after dispatch from our supplier, we will accept a return. When we receive the goods back we will either repair the item, or offer full credit towards ordering a replacement.

If you experience any problem with a product bought from bestwireless.co.nz, contact us first and we will do our best to advise you. Any returns must be discussed and authorized with bestwireless.co.nz. Customer Support in advance, so they are sent back with all the correct paperwork.

In the event of any returned goods where you are requesting a repair / credit under warranty, your shipping costs returning the products to bestwireless.co.nz are payable by you, and cannot be compensated by bestwireless.co.nz.

Physical damage to a product caused by the user; opening products up, e.g. to repair or modify components; or flashing the firmware or using non-approved software – invalidates the warranty.

Read the item description carefully! We will arrange shipping you whatever you order. Although we do assist you by manually checking all orders to screen possible region / compatibility inconsistencies, we do not accept returns of healthy products which were simply mis-ordered by you.

For example: If you are in an PAL video color region, don’t order NTSC products for your market. Check if your country’s networks will match the GSM frequency bands of Cell Phones you are ordering. Check if your locality has free DVB-T broadcasts and what the MPEG version is before buying DVB-T digital TV receivers. If the driver’s seat is on the left, don’t order left side passenger sun visor Car DVD Monitors! Duh!

We will endeavor to check that all stock is legal to sell and operate in New Zealand.

We not be liable for any damage or personal loss due to incorrect installation of our products.

If there is a possible delay due to the warehouse being out of stock, we’ll contact you by email to discuss sending out your order in separate shipments, changing products, or other options. Larger orders that exceed our stock may take up to 1 week longer to send out, as we have to order from the factory. In such cases we will contact you about any delay. In certain cases, e.g. the first time you want to send an order to a different address than your own, we have to complete a verification check with you before processing your order, which can add 1-3 days to the processing time.
